                      Travel Soccer Program

Travel Soccer - The PAL participates in the Morris County Youth Soccer Association (MCYSA) league. The season consists of 8 games of which four are home and four are away and are usually held Sunday afternoons. Most away games are within 30 minutes travel time from Lincoln Park. Most teams have two or three practices during the week with one run by a professional trainer.  Teams are formed whenever there is sufficient interest at an age group.                     In-town Recreation Soccer

The PAL recreation program is held during the summer in the months of June & July.  A brief synopsis of the program is shown below:

Summer Soccer Clinic - The summer soccer clinic is for Boys and Girls currently in Pre-K (must be going into K in fall) and Kindergarten going into 1st grade in the fall. The soccer clinic is held Wednesday evenings from 6:15 - 7:30 at Boro Field from June 19 through July 31. The six week clinic teaches the children fundamental skills of soccer. The children will learn through an age appropriate format and a fun environment. The first half of each session will be ball related skills games and the second half will be small soccer games.  Shin guards are required to participate. 

Summer Soccer Play (co-ed program)

For those going into 2nd through 8th grade in the fall, the six-week summer soccer play co-ed program will be held two nights per week.  The American & National division is expected to play Tuesday & Thursday at 6:15 or 7:30 and the Premier Division is expected to play Monday & Friday. The season starts approximately June 20 and runs through July.

Similar to the clinic, we operate in a camp environment where we start sessions with some drills, skills & soccer related games before we break into teams for scrimmages.  Teams are constantly changing due to players away on vacation or other summer activities The older divisions have more play and less teaching. 

Since the main objective of the summer soccer program is fun, don't worry about missing a few weeks due to vacation. It's expected and is the main reason we don't keep standings.

Divisions:
Clinic: Current Pre-K (going into Kindergarten 9/23) and K going into 1st grade this fall
American Division - Fall 2nd and 3rd graders
National Division - Fall 4th, 5th & 6th Graders
Premier Division - Fall 7th, 8th & 8th graders (this division will only be held if we have enough registrations)
